Leilani had her dance recital on Saturday June 19th. It was an adventure, to say the least. The girls had to be there at 1:00 and the show started promptly at 2:10. Leilani was in the opening act and then was not on stage again until 33 acts later. The whole recital was almost 4 hours long. It was ridiculous!! We're officially done with ballet for awhile. The good news is that the girls had a ball and their performances were adorable! They didn't allow pictures or video in the theater, so Mike had to sneak a video during the opening act. And of course Rubie's mom, Julie got some amazing pictures before the show.
