This morning Leilani and Samuel (he stayed over) and I got up and the crack of dawn and headed to Riverside for the annual Step Out Walk To Fight Diabetes.
It is always so awesome to see our friends and family show up year after year to walk with us and be part of our team. There are changes every year, but that Schwartz family shows up EVERY time! We love you guys! And Aunt Janis walked the whole thing this year!
Zach showed up with amazing gifts for Samuel. He works with Jerry Lee Lewis who has been Samuel's new idol ever since he started playing piano.

Leilani walked the whole 5k this year. She was a real trooper and only complained once. Of course she was out like a light on the drive home.
